
At Small Wonders, we understand how fast kids grow! Thank you for considering us for your children's and maternity consignment.
We accept items in as the seasons dictate. Our typical schedule for accepting seasonal items is:
January - February: Accepting spring children's and maternity clothing, children's shoes and accessories including capris, t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts and onesies, skirts, light-weight jackets, lighter pajamas, athletic shoes, sandals, etc.
January - March: Accepting children's Easter clothing and shoes (Easter items brought in during March will be consigned for 30 days).
March - June: Accepting summer children's and maternity clothing, children's shoes and accessories including tank tops, shorts, t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts and onesies, skirts, sun dresses, lighter pajamas, sandals, flip-flops, swimsuits and cover-ups, etc.
July - September: Accepting fall children's and maternity clothing, children's shoes and accessories including school uniforms, light-weight jackets, coats, jeans, pants, long-sleeved shirts and onesies, longer skirts, longer dresses, heavy tights, close-toed shoes, boots, umbrellas, long-sleeved and legged pajamas, school backpacks and bags, etc.
August - October: Accepting children's Halloween costumes and clothing, etc. (Halloween items brought in during October will be consigned for 30 days).
September - December: Accepting winter children's and maternity clothing, children's shoes and accessories including winter coats, snowsuits, gloves/mittens, scarves, winter hats, snow boots, sweaters, etc. in addition to most fall apparel.
October - December: Accepting children's Christmas and holiday clothing, gifts and other items (Holiday apparel brought in during December will be consigned for 30 days).
Year Round: Children's clothing accessories (socks, bibs, cloth diaper items, underwear, hats, belts, etc.) toys, baby gear and equipment, infant and children's furniture, books, videos, games, gifts, etc.
Clothing Guidelines:
We accept name brand children's clothing sizes preemie through 8 as well as shoes for infants to school age size 2. Shoes should be free of scuffs or wear and shoelaces should be included if applicable. Make sure clothing is in new or gently used condition, in style and free of any stains, tears or stale odors. All buttons should still be attached and zippers in working order. Please bring items in free of wrinkles and smelling fresh. The better your items look and smell, the more money you'll make!
Guidelines for other items:
Cribs should be no more than seven years old.
Car seats need to be accident-free and no more than five years old.
Games and puzzles must have all pieces included.
DVD's and VHS movies as well as music CD's need to be in their original cases and discs should not be scratched.
Toys and other items requiring batteries need arrive with working batteries.
All items need to arrive clean or they will either be rejected or charged a cleaning fee.
We are always concerned with the safety of our littlest customers, so please check the safety and possible recalls of your toys, equipment and furniture at www.cpsc.gov before bringing them to Small Wonders. No recalled items should ever be brought in. We will never knowingly sell recalled items in our store.
Please do not be offended if we cannot accept some of your items. Our customers guide our selection process so that you make more money!
How it works:
Bring your items in anytime during our open business hours, no appointment needed! Small Wonders sets the selling price of all items. When your items sell, you receive 40% of the selling price (50% if the item sells for $50 or more). Stop in anytime for any money you have made or use your credit on purchases within the store and we'll add another 10% of the credit amount you are applying toward your purchase. Your money goes farther here!
SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, and other ORGANIZATIONS! Need a unique fund-raising idea for your school, church or organization? Set up a consignor account for your group, have members, parents, etc. donate items to consign under your account. Fund-raising groups earn 50% of sale prices!
